Origin:

The Lhasa Apso originated in Tibet over 1,000 years ago, where they were bred to serve as watchdogs in monasteries and palaces. Revered by Tibetan monks and nobility, these small dogs were considered symbols of good fortune and were rarely sold, often being given as treasured gifts instead.

Appearance:

Lhasa Apsos are small, sturdy dogs with a long, flowing double coat and a distinctive beard and mustache. They have dark expressive eyes, pendant ears, and a plumed tail that curls over their back. Their coat comes in a variety of colors, including gold, cream, white, black, gray, red, and parti-color combinations.
